Ryan founded Green Origin in 2024 to invest in multifamily properties in the Madison area and is responsible for all facets of business operations. Ryan has 18 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry and deep roots in Madison. Prior to founding Green Origin, Ryan was a senior member of the leadership team at CrowdStreet, Inc., one of the world's largest fintech companies, where he helped raise over $4.0 billion of investor equity. He also served as Vice President of Acquisitions at ScanlanKemperBard Companies where he acquired over $640 million of real estate during his tenure.
Ryan holds an M.B.A. in Finance & Securities Analysis from the University of Oregon and a B.A. in Construction Management with a concentration in Business Administration and Economics from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Doug plays a crucial role in helping Green Origin navigate its goals and challenges by providing guidance on risk management, performance evaluation, operational improvements, coaching, and mentoring. Doug has been involved in Madison’s multifamily real estate market for over 35 years providing quality housing communities while enhancing value for the owner.
He was President & CEO of Meridian Group, Inc. from 1997 to 2021 where he was responsible for managing Meridian’s services which included property management, asset management, compliance, accounting services, financing, and construction management.
